Biography
A native Georgian, I've been creating art since I was about two.
I did all the art you did in grade school, as well as crafting and creating art in my spare time.
After graduating High School, I continued drawing, painting, working with clay, airbrushing and
wood carving, as well as artwork for family, friends, clubs and local bands.
I went back to School for printing and graphics. I did graphic design and pre-press work
as well as signage work, I even had my own vinyl graphics business. I enjoyed creating digital art but decided to get back into a more traditional style of art.
Drawing at first, then into working with bamboo.
Inspired by a man making a root ball cane on line, a dogwood sapling with a simple rounded handle.
I started making root ball canes. My first two had an animal look, but I left them plain.
It wasn't until I made my third one, a duck, that I started making them look like the animal I see in them.
All the root ball canes I've made since are uniquely different. I truly enjoy creating art using all
kinds of mediums and styles that always changes.
